On November 4, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2024 was successfully hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center. Focusing on the theme "Connecting Minds, Shaping Energy", the event attracted over 2,200 exhibiting companiesglobally. ZhenHua Oil's delegation, led by Chairman Wang Yuetao and General Manager Lu Lize, comprised representatives from Zhenhua Oil (Hong Kong) Limited, Oasis Petroleum, EBS Petroleum Company Limited, NPIC Egypt Company, Northern Petroleum Hong Kong Limited, and relevant departments from ZhenHua Oil HQ.
During the conference, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and CEO of ADNOC, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Karim Badawi, and Chinese Ambassador to the UAE Zhang Yiming visited the company's stand, highly commending ZhenHua Oil's positive achievements in cultivating the UAE market.

The company's stand was designed with a "Möbius strip" inspired digitalized ribbon as the foundation, complemented by dynamic matrix lighting bands, the first time show of a digital twin system from Zhenhua Oil on the international stage, and an ESG exhibition area, vividly showcasing the company's achievements and breakthroughs in technological innovation, digital intelligence, and engineering, as well as the green and sustainable development concept.
The infrared gas monitoring and warning system, making its international debut, drew significant attention. As the first domestic infrared gas monitoring technology product to explore the high-end international oil and gas market, this system has effectively enhanced the digital and intelligent safety level of ADNOC onshore oil fields in Abu Dhabi since its promotion and application, winning great recognition from the UAE side and further burnishing ZhenHua Oil's "gold-lettered signboard".
During the event, the company hosted a three-day special technical Press conference with the topic of themed "AI and Digital Innovation in Performance". Aligning with the main theme of ADIPEC, the session showcased ZhenHua Oil's technological advancements and case studies in seven areas where AI empowers oil and gas exploration and development, including distributed fiber optic (DFO) well logging, hazardous gas monitoring, and data-driven relative permeability prediction.
Deepening Cooperation, Orchestrating a "Symphony" of Mutual Benefit and Trust
As it was ZhenHua Oil's fifth year of participation in ADIPEC, the company's leadership took the opportunity of its establishment of the Middle East Operations Service Center in Abu Dhabi and the inauguration of the Abu Dhabi branch of its Research Institute of Exploration and Development to engage in a series of fruitful exchanges and visits with ADNOC's top management.The chairman Mr Wang Yuetao delivered a speech at the Majlis Global CEO Roundtable and was received by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. General Manager Lu Lize was invited to attend the 40th anniversary gala of ADIPEC and held meetings with ADNOC's Upstream Executive Director Al Kindy and Executive Director Al Kaabi to jointly explore future paths for win-win cooperation.
